industrial craft 1 is closed i think but IC2 is being made for the current minecraft

how do i find out and what is bukkit?

you understand everytime minecraft updates, you won't be allowed to update for awhile if we add this and you won't be able to get any new features if minecraft adds them into the game with this mod. It completely effects the gamefiles which will override the patches.
